The Founder was homeless forty years ago in California and Atlanta, GA. She realized through her circumstances and situations has caused her to be homeless. Many people have looked down on homeless as if there is no hope for them but by being in that situation, she had a totally different outlook on homeless people. She started feeding the hungry, give out clothes, shelter, advice, counselling and mentoring 27 years ago. My mother used to feed “hobos” (homeless) when she was young and told me never look down on anyone. Because of her personal experience, she has a heart to help the homeless get on their feet.She has been feeding the hungry for 25 years. She has sponsored community events where she fed the homeless for 15 years, it was across the street from Salvation Army (Miller Park Lynchburg, VA).
Provide shelter for homeless people and admit them into a program to assist them to be able to get back into the society with our Rent-to-Own Program (Heart of Humanity Home Select) which will be their own home at affordable price. This program requires them to stay at the property for 2 years to evaluate their stability and progress
